Amorium Lecture at the NYNC

On October 12th the excavation director, Dr. Chris Lightfoot, will be giving a lecture titled "Coins Finds from Byzantine Amorium: Archaeological Context and Significance" as the 13th Annual Michael J. Druck Memorial Lecture. More information can be found HERE.

More on the Vali's Visit

Governor of the province of Afyon visits the excavation

Over the summer, the Amorium excavation was visted by the Vali (governor) of the province of Afyon, Haluk Imga. The visit was well covered in the local press and the story is available here.

Almost there

A few final touches and the first revision should be up on line. It will include an easier frame interface, and some of the Photographs from this season will be online (along with others). They will be available here.
